With over 15 years of business development experience, I currently hold C-level positions in IT companies. On a daily basis I deal with startups. I have seen both success stories and failures during this time. Mostly failures, I have to admit with regret.
I believe that a significant role in the success of a startup is the ability to clearly define the goal and to move towards that goal. A lot of startup founders get so overwhelmed by the process that they lose sight of what their main goal is.
A startup is like a baby. No wonder founders like to play with it. The process of taking care of it engages them so much that they don’t want their child to grow up.
